Mengo Hospital was founded in 1897 in
Kampala, and is the oldest hospital in Uganda. It currently serves as an urban
community hospital that provides modern medical care. Mengo Hospital provides
comprehensive care including radiology, obstetrics, dentistry, orthopedics, and
surgery. Additionally, Mengo Hospital provides critical training and education
to health professionals through its various programs in midwifery and nursing,
health sciences, and laboratory technology. Mengo Hospital also has a dedicated
research and development team that works to find new solutions to health issues
in Uganda.
Job
Summary: The Nurse and Midwifery Tutor will be in charge of teaching and training
students in the Mengo School of Nursing and Midwifery.
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:

The applicants must be qualified Nurse Tutors or
Midwifery Tutors from Mulago Tutors College or other recognized institution,
with Degrees or Diplomas in Medical Education, and with Diplomas in Nursing or
Midwifery. Possession of a BSc.N Degree will be an added advantage.

The applicant must be registered by the Uganda
Nurses and Midwives Council, and licensed by the Ministry of Education
·
One year of teaching experience in a recognized
Health training institution
