We are seeking a Project Manager to manage Saferworld’s contribution to the Advisory Consortium on Confl ict Sensitivity (ACCS), which focuses on developing evidence-based advocacy and targeted recommendations, and providing technical support to improve the recovery and peacebuilding impact of the key Ugandan Peace, Recovery and Development Plan stakeholders.
The Project Manager will manage one Project Coordinator and also contribute to the Uganda country programme relating to confl ict prevention, security and justice provision and small arms control.
Th e successful candidate will require at least 5 years experience in project and team management, and in working on confl ict prevention, confl ict-sensitive approaches and peacebuilding issues in Uganda.
Project Coordinator
We are also seeking a Project Coordinator to implement Saferworld’s Uganda country programme, working on the ACCS project as well as other country projects relating to confl ict prevention, confl ictsensitive approaches, security and justice provision and small arms control.
Th e successful candidate will require at least 3 years experience working on confl ict prevention, peace building or security and justice issues in Uganda, and on policy advocacy and capacity-building.
