LEAN Construction Project Manager - Jinja Uganda
Our Client is an international organisation. They are currently working on the completion of complex construction projects in Uganda.
We are therefore seeking a LEAN Construction Project Manager with at least 2 to 5 years experience of working with LEAN methodology coupled with an additional 3 to 5 years experience in the Construction industry.
We are looking for a Construction Project Manager with experience of LEAN for a a 6 month project in Uganda.Must be an experienced Project Manager with Lean with ideall y at least 7 to 10 years experience (more on project than manufacturing area)Description Hydro industry - Construction project started in 2010 to be ended next year with the delivery of 5 units (50 MW each) Objective Secure the delivery on time following the contractual planning.Improve Lean Management maturity in the team using DMAIC process.Implement action plan agreed by management and associated KPI in order to measure the progress.The candidate we are seeking should have a strong knowledge of LEAN and should be experienced in construction related business.Any experience of MS Project or Primavera would be handy but is not essential though a sound working knowledge to support the LEAN project would be very important.
The Client will consider candidates from anywhere but with the proviso that getting to Uganda should be relatively easy
The project is based in Jinja Uganda.
This is a 6 to 8 months contract to commence immediately.
The rate is negotiable but will be dependent on the expertise you bring to the project.
The Client will cover flights, accommodation and expenses.
