Support a network of organisations in Uganda to deliver more effective malaria and children’s health services by sharing critical information and technical resources with each other.
This is a volunteer assignment under the Australian Volunteers for International Development program, an Australian Government, AusAID initiative. Airfares, living allowances, accommodation, insurance and other support is provided through the program.The Malaria and Childhood Illness Secretariat (MACIS) is a registered network of 450 civil society organisations in Uganda, all of which are engaged in malaria and maternal & child health activities.
MACIS wants to improve communication with its member organisations through meetings, email and its website.
It is seeking an AVID volunteer to help develop newsletters and other communication products, assist with proposals, monitor and participate in key health-related events and establish links to onsite learning platforms to help its members.
