• Bachelors Degree in humanities or the equivalent accrued working experience in a related position in MNCH programmes.
• Familiarity with Ministry of Health system and decentralized approach in Uganda.
• Public Health training and/or experience and demonstrated skills in catalyzing change.
• Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines and intense pressure to perform;
• Proficiency in writing technical and programmatic reports that document direction or results;
• Ability to interact skilfully and diplomatically with numerous counterparts, both domestically and internationally;
• Planning, organizing, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills – oral and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy skills – MS Office applications, word, excel, PowerPoint, spreadsheets.
