Project Coordinator, Child Rights Governance (2 positions)
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in humanities, development studies, law, or any relevant fi eld. Post Graduate training in Project Management and Community Development is an added advantage.
• At least 3 years of implementing programmes with strong linkage to the CRC, child rights governance and child rights programming preferably with International NGOs.
• Thorough understanding and demonstrated commitment to child rights issues including the link between promotion, protection and fulfillment of children’s rights.
• Working knowledge of policy development in relation to the CRC and Child rights programming.
• Understanding of international and national government policies on the CRC, violence against children and how to contribute to their development with political analysis skills, sensitivity and diplomacy.
• Demonstrated Planning, organizing and negotiation skills
• Computer literacy skills – MS Office applications, word, excel, PowerPoint, Spread sheets
• Analysis and advocacy skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
