Baylor College

of Medicine Children’s Foundation – Uganda (Baylor -Uganda) is a private not

for profit NGO that provides: HIV/AIDS care, treatment and prevention services;

maternal child health services; Health Professional training and Clinical

Research.


Job Summary: The Safe Male

Circumcision (SMC) Nurse will support the SMC surgeon while conducting

circumcision procedures and provide post-operative nursing care to clients;

disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments


Qualifications, Skills and

Experience: 


·        
The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma in Nursing

(Double Trained) or its equivalent from a recognized institution and must be

registered with the Uganda Nurses and Midwifes Council.


·        
A minimum of two years’ experience in Clinic or

Hospital-based services.


·        
Prior experience in SMC, HIV/AIDS and ART is an

added advantage.
