Baylor College

of Medicine Children’s Foundation – Uganda (Baylor -Uganda) is a private not

for profit NGO that provides: HIV/AIDS care, treatment and prevention services;

maternal child health services; Health Professional training and Clinical

Research.

Job Summary: The Accountant

will be in charge of reviewing and implementation of Baylor Uganda’s Financial

and Accounting Systems and guidelines in line with the finance directorate’s

mission.

Qualifications, Skills and

Experience: 

·        
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s

(honors) degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance.

·        
Professional Accounting Membership i.e. ACCA, CPA.

·        
A minimum of two years’ experience as an Accountant

in a reputable Organization.

·        
Computer literacy i.e. IT skills mainly in Microsoft

Office packages

·        
Background and understanding of Finance &

Accounting software and knowledge of Navision.

·        
Good team player

·        
Excellent oral and written communication skills

·        
Excellent analytical skills.
