This position is based in Kampala, Uganda.
This is a temporary role offered through NFT Consult.
The area: Business Development
The New Business Development group works with Product, Engineering and other teams on new product incubation and exploratory efforts, technology and meta-data licensing, strategic partnerships, urgent special projects, and alternative distribution for existing and new business initiatives. Our team consists of creative, entrepreneurial, highly organised leaders, well versed in a broad range of technologies, who can spot opportunities, evaluate inbound inquiries, build partnerships, collaborate with many internal functional groups globally, and negotiate and close business deals.
The role: Business Program Manager (Temporary)
As a Business Program Manager you will manage the implementation of key projects and activities to achieve stated results. You will manage the work flow between the Lead generation partners, Data collection partners, Domain registration partners and Google Stakeholders; coordinate the development of marketing collateral between the internal marketing team and partners; and also develop events to support sign up of SMBs to GXBO.
Responsibilities:

* Conceptualize key program components, develop plans and resource requirements.
* Manage the implementation of key program/project activities.
* Coordinate the development and implementation of marketing and outreach campaigns to support the program.
* Assist the Country team in developing a solid SMB pipeline for program.
* Assist the country team in other pertinent projects as may be requested from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications:

* MA/MSc degree. In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Project management experience.
* Marketing, business development or management consulting background.
* Superior analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
