Programme Manager

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in peace studies, social sciences, community development or other relevant field. Master’s Degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• At least five years of experience managing conflict mitigation, peace building, community dialogue, human rights, youth mobilization programs. Experience in the management of survivors of conflict will be an added advantage.

• Demonstrated effective interactions with government, civil society, international donor agencies, and other stakeholders.

• Demonstrate an ability to convene different stakeholders and interact effectively with actors at multiple levels.

• Experience in managing inter-agency consortiums preferred.

• Understanding of the unique political dynamics and ability to support the various political entities in (country of the grant).

• Experience in leading and managing large projects, preferably US government grants.

• The ability to travel extensively to program locations within as required.
