Industry: Oil/Gas/Petroleum JobsImmediate requirement for operator based in Johannesburg in support of land operations in Uganda.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 15 years drilling operations experience coupled with a broad knowledge of exploration management. A background in Petroleum Engineering would also be beneficial. Candidates must also have the ability to speak, read and write fluent English.
Current programme is due to run to the end of the year but as the client is looking to drill in other areas, there would be a potential to extend role to that of worldwide Drilling Manager.
Primarily based in Johannesburg with periodic visits to the rig site.
Position would either be on a 28/28 rotation or full time in country basis - applicants to specify their preferred option.
