Trader – Oil Trader, Uganda
We are currently handling an exciting mandate with a large energy house that is looking to develop an oil trading desk within their East African . The group already has an established team in Uganda, but are now looking to hire an experienced trader to lead the groups effort in the region.
Responsibilities for Oil Trader, Uganda, Salary: Highly Competitive, (Oil, Physical, Distillates, Gasoline, Africa, Trader) role:
? Leading a small team trading both physical and paper oil products
? Trading of a range of oil products, with the focus across the distillates (gasoil and kerosene) and gasoline markets
? Focus on East African markets, as well as trading across the continent and in the Middle East
? Develop and maintain a list of trading counter-parties in the oil space
? Provide support to business development teams
Skills / Attributes required for Oil Trader, Uganda, Salary: Highly Competitive, (Oil, Physical, Distillates, Gasoline, Africa, Trader) role:
? Vice-President to Director level of trading experience
? Have had past exposure to the African oil markets
? Experience trading both physical and paper oil
? Exposure across the barrel, namely the distillates (gasoil and kerosene in particular) and light oils (gasoline)
? Be willing to be based in Uganda for a period of up to 2 years, with later potential to be based in Dubai
