is a leading manufacturer of steel and plastic building materials within East
Africa. Our head offices are situated about 6km outside Kampala city centre in
Lubowa, along Entebbe road. Other group companies include; Roofings Rolling
Mills (located in Namanve) and Roofings Polypipes (located in Lubowa).
Job Summary: The Storekeeper
– Materials will support Roofings Limited by taking charge of stock items i.e.
finished and trading goods
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Ensure that all finished goods are received,
verified and stored properly.
·
Ensure that all transactions are documented and well
accounted for.
·
Make sure that all records are updated and well
maintained.
·
Ensure that subordinates are trained, supervised and
proper work allocated.
·
Ensure that accurate reports are generated.
·
Ensure that daily physical opening balance is present
by 0900 hrs to data section.
·
Ensure proper handling methods are followed.
·
Ensure the use of proper and right tools &
equipment.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·
The applicant should hold a Diploma in Stores
Management
·
A minimum of three to four years’ experience in
similar role
