M&E PROGRAM OFFICER
Position Description and Required Competencies:
This is a professional position. The Program Officer is responsible for provision of support to program activities. He/ She assists the program team in carrying out the day-today program activities. The Program Officer reports to the Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist.
Required Experience and Academic Qualifications:
• The proposed candidate must have:-
• A relevant Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3 years of professional experience in HIV/AIDS service provision or health related fields.
• Excellent computer skills including excellent knowledge and experience in MS office applications and other data processing and graphical presentation software.
• Ability to independently plan and execute complex tasks while addressing daily management details and remaining organized and focused on long term deadlines and strategy highly desirable.
• Good writing skills
• Team players who work well under deadlines and pressure.
• Excellent inter-personal communication skills and excellent organization skills.
• USAID project work experience is preferred.
