Description:We are pleased to announce that there is an out break of Jiggers in Uganda especially in Busoga region, our area of operation and we have launched the fight against the jiggers and we shall focus more in primary schools where the children are more vulnerable to Jiggers. We have set up a team of our health educators, counselors move to different primary schools in Busede Sub County to educate and treat those who have been affected and infected by the disease. Then the community prescribes remedial measures to be carried out in schools before their children can die.
