Qualifications
•    A Diploma  in  Auto Vehicle  Mechanics  or  Auto vehicle  Mechanic Craft-Part 2
•    A trade  test  certificate (Auto vehicle  Mechanics ) part 3 a must
Experience
•    5 years  experience in  the same  field  in a large and  reputable  company
•    Conflict  management   skills
•    Problem solving , good judgment and decision making skills
•    Stress tolerant and able to work  under harsh conditions
•    Good  communication  skills  both oral  and written 
•    Ability  to coach  and mentor others
•    High integrity  , team  oriented and good interpersonal skills.

Electricians will be responsible for all general electrical repairs on vehicles and trucks in the fleet and on site. Includes emergency repairs; supervision of contracted repairs; scheduled maintenance.

 

 

Requirement:Qualifications & Skills:Relevant Electrical Certificate /diploma with relevant registrationsGood understanding of workshop practices and ability to work within HSE requirementsAbility to understand electrical drawings and manuals in EnglishProven ability to produce relevant reports and maintenance schedulesPreferably proven experience in vehicle electronics and diagnostics3+ years relevant experience in a similar field. Heavy Commercial Vehicle Electricians

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the chosen applicants will be responsible for overhauling and repair of electrical components as well as using software/ hardware to diagnose and eliminate fault codes.

Requirement:

Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required:

-Must have undergone technical or vocational training at a recognized institution.

- At least 5 years experience, working in a similar position, gained in an automotive/

- Excellent computer skills (knowledge of diagnostics software system)

Position: Motor Vehicle Driver
Salary Scale: UR 7

Duties and Responsibilities:

a. Undertaking routine and preventive maintenance of motor vehicle by checking and topping-up the level of petrol, oil, water, battery electrodes and tyre pressure before operating the vehicle. b. Regularly cleaning and polishing the vehicle, changing tyres as well as making minor repairs or adjustments. c. Driving motor vehicle (car and van] to transport directors, staff, clients and others to designated locations. d, Maintaining records of the motor vehicle's daily activity showing journey, mileage, petrol, oil and signature of authorizing officer lo account for all the journeys made e. Requisitioning for petrol, lubricants and spare parts and maintaining a record accounting for the same.

Minimum Qualifications: a. Valid Digital Driving Permit (Class 6 and DL) b. Uganda Certificate of Education with at least a pass in English
Language
c. At least 3 years driving experience. Employment terms for all Posts Successful candidates will be employed on four years contract renewable on satisfactory performance. Age: candidates should not be above 45 years of age.
