Electrical Building Services Design Engineer

Description : Our client is a Design, Architecture, and Engineering-led, multi-disciplinary consultancy with demonstrable expertise and wide ranging experience in robust, reliable, and compliant development project delivery. Based in the UK and with established centres of operation in The Netherlands, Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania, and with a further regional office set to become operational in Kenya in 2012, the firm provides professional building services throughout Eastern Africa and the wider region.

Currently looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Building Services Design Engineer to be based in Kampala, Uganda.

Ideally candidates will have a strong consultancy background with excellent technical ability. You will be responsible for the full range of electrical services design on a variety of projects including hotels, residential buildings, offices and retail developments. You will be expected to work largely un-assisted with the guidance of a senior colleague.

Packages can be tailored to suit individual needs; generally your salary will be paid in two parts. A proportion in local currency and the rest in tax free in pounds.

The firm have 20 years plus experience operating in Uganda so will be able to assist with locating accommodation etc. Currently the office has a cosmopolitan feel with employees coming from the U.K, Europe, USA and locally.
