Organisation: Biogas SolutionsBiogas Solutions Uganda Ltd is a private company limited by guarantee established in Uganda with the objective to formulate, develop and set in motion strategies, policies, plans, measures, systems and approaches that support private sector led biogas sector development aimed at sustainable improvement of the livelihoods of rural and peri-urban households in Uganda.Job Summary: The Managing Director will be responsible for overall management of the company which includes: efficient management of financial resources; review and approval of budgets and monitoring expenditures; supervision of field operations, administration, logistics and procurement; supervision of monitoring and evaluation; and ensuring quality control and timeliness of all deliverables as required by Board of Directors. The jobholder will also ensure full compliance with the company’s fiduciary regulations and that all reporting processes are in line with the requirements of its investors. The incumbent will be responsible for performance management of all company staff.Qualifications, Skills and Experience: The applicant should possess a good Masters degree in business, economics, or related field; Seven or more years of progressive management experience;Excellent track record in private sector/SME development and business finance modalities. Leadership and management principles, current challenges and opportunities in climate-smart energy, human resources management, financial management, and project management skills are required.
