Key Duties and Responsibilities: Handling relationships with current suppliersTalking to them every day, becoming friends with themGetting weekly promotions from themNegotiating weekly our costs, payment terms, etcGetting new releases as soon as they have itShortlisting and prioritizing key suppliersFinding new suppliers: we have no limits, you can try to source and sell every kind of productsMonitoring stock levels and planning ahead our purchasing policyHaving an accurate knowing of competition: who they are, what prices they have, what products they have.Analyzing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trendsAttending trade fairs/events to source new productsMaking monthly sales reportsLiaising with other teams (both international and local) within the organization to ensure good operations
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Should have performed a similar role for at least two yearsA qualification in purchasing and suppliesExcellent computer skillsKeen interest and knowledge of electronic productsProactive, entrepreneurial and hungryResults driven
