Head of Legal and Regulatory

The successful candidate must have:
• Good understanding of the Ugandan economy and an appreciation of the culture and environment associated with commercial legal matters in the telecommunication industry;

• Demonstrable track record of performance, executive presence and decision making, are key;

• Evidence of the ability to interact, relate to, work with and support the activities of a dynamic corporation’s highly qualified staff and Board members is desirable.

We are looking for a candidate who holds a good Juris Doctorate or equivalent Law degree from a recognized university. The candidate must have at least five-twelve years experience serving as a corporate, real estate and transactional attorney. Prior experience working in UK, SA, and USA based law firms, or legal education in the USA, SA or UK will be an added advantage.

This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ATC Uganda.
