Job Title: Clinical Officer

Job summary
The Clinical officer will perform medical clinical duties on a rotational basis in the TB units (Chest Clinic and Adult Isolation Ward), Arua Hospital Aids Programe (AHAP), PMTCT< and Nutrition wards

General Duties include;
Provide clinical services to patients living HIV and/ or TB including examinations, prescriptions, record keeping and charting of all necessary information.
Prescribe ARV's, TB drugs,OL prophylaxis and other medications to appropriate patients.
Conduct minor medical procedures in effective manner-lumbar punctures, taps, etc.-while utilizing universal precautions with all patients during procedures and examinations.

General Qualification
Diploma in Clinical Medicine fro a recognized institution
Registration with the Allied Health Professionals council
Minimum of 2 yrs clinical experience; experience with HIV and TB is a plus
Ability to work well in a team comprised of people with diverse cultural and disciplinary backgrounds
