Job Title: Gender Officer

Key Responsibilities
Assist the G4G manager in partner and service provider selection process and contracting.Provision of specialist gender-related Services or TA to grantees, a Bi clients, and a Bi sub components as neededEnsure that gender considerations are included in a bi value chain analysis and chosen interventions;Ensuring gender disaggregated reporting of abi Trust impacts and Trust operationsDeveloping operational plans in accordance to goals and practices of set by the BoTEnsuring that contacted service providers and partners deliver the agreed and defined outfits.Qualification and Experience
Minimum is Bachelors Degree in Gender, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Agriculture or any other related discipline. A masters Degree will be an added advantageA minimum of 5 years progressive professional experience in working with gender mainstreaming in rural/agribusiness development especially with in the agriculture sector and/or small enterprises.Experience in NGO fund/Grant management preferred.
