ACDI/VOCA has been awarded the USAID-funded PL 480 Title II Food Security Program called “Resiliency through Wealth, Agriculture, and Nutrition in Karamoja (RWANU), to be implemented from August, 2012 through July, 2017 in Karamoja, Uganda. RWANU will focus on two strategic objectives to reduce food insecurity among vulnerable rural populations in selected sub-counties of Amudat, Moroto, Napak and Nakapiripirit: (1) improved availability and access to food; and (2) reduced malnutrition in pregnant and lactating mothers and children under five. RWANU takes a preventive approach to reducing malnutrition, focusing on the first 1,000 days of life when conditional food rations will have the highest impact. Integral to its strategy, the Program will promote diversified livelihoods strategies including linkages to market opportunities, to ensure long-term food security and resilience to shocks.

Monitoring and Evaluation Manager:

The M&E Manager will have the overall responsibility of monitoring the performance of agriculture, health & nutrition, and food distribution activities and managing the systems for collecting M&E information.
Requirement:

    Master's degree and 5+ years of professional experience in international development focused data collection and analysis.
Proven experience and skills in quantitative and qualitative research methods, survey design and implementation, statistical data analysis required.

MSH Uganda is currently running a number of USAID and other donor funded projects including SURE, both in Kampala and otherSURE (Securing Ugandans’ Right to Essential Medicines) will ensure that the population of Uganda has access to adequate quantities of good quality essential medicines and health supplies (EMHS) by strengthening the national essential medicines and health commodities supply system. MSH now invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions within the SURE Program:1) Training Coordinator (Kampala)The Training Coordinator will closely work with the Training Officer, Training Intern, technical teams and the Pharmacy Division of the Ministry of Health to ensure effective, efficient and quality implementation of SURE strategies through training and capacity building. Position Scope:
