Summary: Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB) is one of the national Examinations Boards in Uganda. This is a professional Examinations Board with the mandate to streamline, regulate, coordinate and conduct credible examinations and award Certificates and Diplomas in the Business. Technical and Vocational professions. The Board will therefore conduct Business. Technical and Vocational examinations, including Applied Science specialties such as Biological Sciences (Agricultural. Fisheries, Wildlife, Forestry, Bee keeping and other related fields), Physical Sciences (Meteorology, Surveys and Land Management, and other related fields), Cooperative, Social Development, Hotel, Catering and Tourism. Main purpose of the job:
To Plan. Develop and Coordinate Implementation of Board policies and systems for Human Resource, Finance, and Administration. ?
Main Duties:
? Tender advice to Executive Secretary on matters of Finance, Human Resource & Administration;
? Deputize the Executive Secretary
? Lead and coordinate preparation of capital & recurrent budgets;
? Develop and coordinate systems, processes & procedures for enforcing proper accountability of resources;
? Coordinate the development and implementation of UBTEB Strategic Plan;
? Develop and coordinate the implementation of Finance, Human Resource and Administrative policies;
? Plan and avail resources required for implementation of UBTEB activities;
? Coordinate the Human Resource, Finance and Administration functions;
? Develop and coordinate the implementation of the UBTEB information system;
? Manage the UBTEB assets and liabilities and
? Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Requirements:

Qualifications & Experiences
:

Either

A Bachelor?s degree in Finance and Accounting with a Master?s degree in Business Administration. Public Administration or Human Resource Management with a Professional Qualifications in Accountancy/Finance (ACCA or CPA) as an added advantage

OR;

Bachelors degree in Public/Business Administration, Human Resource Management with a professional qualification in Finance/Accounting (ACCA or CPA) and a Masters degree in Public/Business Administration or Human Resource Management OR;Any other degree in a field examinable by the Board with a Professional Qualifications in Accountancy/Finance (ACCA or CPA) ? registered as a Member with the relevant professional body and a Masters degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or Human Resource Management.At least eight (8) years of work experience in Human Resource. Finance and Administration at a senior management position in a government department or any other reputable organization is a requirement.
