The Role
We require a Donor Accountant to join the Finance team. Working closely with the Country Finance Systems Manager, you will review the finance strategy and support its implementation, ensure that that donor require¬ments, policies and procedures are met across the country programme; provide leadership and guidance in developing donor budget proposals; closely monitor donor reporting schedules and the programme business cycles to ensure timely and accurate financial donor reporting; develop best practices in donor funding monitor¬ing and management; work closely with the Funding Coordinator to support and maintain the restricted funds grip and allocation to projects as well as support finance, Partners and programme teams in understanding essentials in donor contract management.
