Institute of Statistics & Applied Economics Vacancies- Makerere University

1.    Department of Planning & Applied Statistics

a)    Post:        Assistant Lecturer        (2)

Qualifications:    Minimum of an Upper Second Class Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following:- Quantitative Economics OR Statistics OR Business Statistics, OR Computing OR Commerce OR Management OR Finance
A Masters Degree in any of the following areas: Applied Statistics OR Applied Economics OR Quantitative Economics OR Business Statistics, OR Business Administration OR Computing OR Management   

    Duties:            Teach undergraduate programmes
Supervise undergraduate final year projects
Actively participate in research activities in the department
2.    Department of Statistical Methods

a)                 Post:        Assistant Lecturer        (2)
Minimum of an Upper Second Class Bachelor’s Degree.
Masters Degree in any of the following areas: Stochastic Processes OR, Econometrics, OR Time Series, OR design of Experiments, OR Statistical Methods, OR Multivariate Analysis.

Duties:                       Teach undergraduate programmes
Supervise undergraduate final year projects
Actively participate in research activities in the department
