VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is an international non-profit, public health organisation with headquarters in the USA, whose purpose is to strengthen health programs worldwide. MSH currently runs a nuumber of USAID and other donor funded projects, both in Kampala and other parts of the country.

STRIDES for Family Health Project: Is a project that strengthens the capacity of the health system in fifteen (15) selected districts in Uganda in order to make them fully functional and able to deliver quality, integrated reproductive health/family planning (RH/FP) and child survival (CS) services to the people in need of these services.

STAR-E Project (Strengthening HIV/AIDS and TB Responses in Eastern Uganda) is a district based HIV/TB project headquartered in Mbale district but with activities in Budaka, Bududa, Bukwo, Busia, Butaleja, Kapchorwa, Pallisa and Sironko districts.

MSH now invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions in the STRIDES and STAR-E projects:

Job Title: Executive / Human Resources Coordinator (STAR-E Project – Mbale)
The Executive/HR Coordinator provides overall administrative support to the Chief of Party (COP) and two Deputy Chiefs of Party. This includes day-to-day overall administrative, logistical and specific activities related to the Project and is responsible for coordination of all contacts between the Senior Management and external stakeholders such as, sub-recipients, USAID, The Ministry of Health, and any other party. S/he also provides HR support and coordination to the project while contributing to the accomplishment of human resources best practices and objectives. S/he needs to be an excellent team player, as well as an enterprising and independent worker with abundant initiative.

Qualifications:
1) Bachelor’s Degree (Business Administration, Social Sciences or other relevant field). 2) Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience. 3) Experience in Human Resources required. 4) Demonstrated ability in computer skills for word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and presentations.
