Job tile: Financial Controller
Directly reporting to Chief Financial Officer

Education/Experience:
* University degree in Accounting, An MBA in Accounting and Finance and or membership to a Professional Accountancy body e.g. ACCA, CPA, e.t.c.
* Must have at least 3 years working experience in the Treasury and or Finance department of a regulated Financial Institution

Personal Abilities:
* Highly developed sense of reliability and correctness
* Outstanding communication skills
* Innovative and analytical
* Very good planning skills
* Must have above average skills in using Microsoft office applications

Responsibilities;
* Supervises VFC's treasury to ensure profitable operations and compliance to policy
* Proposes appropriate changes to treasury operations and manages the ALCO
* Elaborates strategy for inter-bank money mar¬ket and assist the CFO in budget preparations and general management of the finance department.
* In charge of Central Bank reporting and com¬pliance, to financial and liquidity requirements.
* Other tasks that may be assigned by the Chief Finance Officer from time to time
