Sr.Business Development Head - Uganda

• To work closely with the Senior Management team in implementing the company's strategic plan for growth and development of service offerings
• The role will require the candidate to head & manage business development for BPO / ITES sales in the demographics assigned.
• To guide and help local sales work force in building their skills for various sales activities like making quality presentations, handling customer objections, negotiation skills, etc.
• Developing strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets.
• Delivering sales by developing relationships with retail partners, managing all strategic alliances/partnerships, identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets.
• Achieving targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth.
• To build capacity of work force in the areas of: Business Development, Sales & Marketing, Account Management, Project Management.
• Manage, support, and supervise the business development department responsible for acquisition of new projects and project bids.
• Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities. Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings.
• Proactively develops and improve products and services by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
• Set sales targets and define strategy to achieve these targets and to follow the set strategy punctually.
• Manage the proposal development process and maintain the time-lines for the proposal teams.

• To explore the Africa market and identify opportunities for the Company.
• Increase opportunities of Sales and meet the desire Company targets on recurring Sales Revenues
• Market the brand and the Company's experience to increase Good will in the Africa Industry
• Enhance the confidence of their potential customers to do business
• To undertake relationship management by building partners, marketing and brand positioning of organization
• Differentiate the Company from competitors
• Analyzing essential specifications on business processes initiatives, examine the project for market viability and business strategies to market them and enhance business for the company.
• Responsible for preparing and responding to RFI, RFP and Corporate presentations
• Develop and implement strategies for new products and services after approval from the board of directors.
• Define and follow up of yearly Company targets and objectives
• Proactively hunt for target organizations and establish communications with those businesses that can benefit from our Company's services
• Share the quarterly dashboard & individual target achievement in a business development review meeting with CEO, Techno Brain and Board Members
• Sharing a good rapport with the clients, understanding their project requisites, incorporating changes required within project conformity and providing value added
• Approach such Organizations and maintain the business development dashboard with pipeline, pending, matured and closed deals
• Develop and manage marketing tools and collateral for existing and new clients
• Report Monthly business review & individual target achievement to the management team
• Services to improve business and spread goodwill
• Potential Clients identification & subsequently finalizing the layout / strategy of marketing the services
• Align with Process and Performance Manager to ensure optimized use of internal processes
• Ensure compliance of all Clients in-house is met.
• Maximize the business value, ensuring efficient proposals are provided which meet business requirements
• Act as Key Contact for the Business Development team

Authority:

1. Responsible for/and has authority for the overall financial and commercial and personnel management, as defined in his Position Description, so as to ensure optimum profitability, a harmonious and efficient workforce and an efficient management structure is achieved.
2. Responsible for/and has authority for the overall implementation, maintenance and running of the Annual Business Plan, as defined in his Position Description, so as to ensure the company handles the most appropriate programs in the most efficient manner to ensure optimum return on investment.

Reports to:

1. Director

Candidates having min 10 years of overall experience with min of 6 years of experience in Corporate Sales and New Business Development
• Candidates having knowledge of BPO / ITES - services knowledge would be preferable
• Should be presentable & should stand up to the mark / Proven people leadership
• Have a flair for big ticket selling
• Should have sound knowledge in Client costing
• Experience within financial, commercial or IT roles preferrable
• Good understanding of long-range Strategic Planning and Business Planning processes in Global organizations
• Support the planning process, analyzing key issues, business initiatives and informational needs that support, improve and transform Sales Revenue generation
• Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written, and both technical and non- technical, and the ability to work with a diverse group of individuals in a professional and service-oriented manner
