We are seeking five (5) exceptional fresh graduates to take up the role of Business Analyst in our Kampala office.
Candidates should either have just completed an undergraduate degree or have worked for at most one (1) year. As a Business
Analyst in our Strategy & Operations service line, you will work to help our clients in their efforts to solve challenging business and organisational issues.

Specifically, you will focus on the following:

• Ensure availability of accurate and timely data on assigned tasks as required, including using available knowledge sources optimally.

• Ensure assigned work is completed within agreed time frames and carried out per approved methodologies and standards and
within agreed budgets.

• Learn and apply Deloitte standards, procedures and methodologies on assignments.

• Assist in developing recommendations for corrective action/improvement.

• Keep the Engagement Manager updated on any issues arising from the assignment.

• Assist the Consultants/Senior Consultants with day to day administrative tasks for assignments and also departmental
administration tasks such as filing and updating of client files.

• Ensure that all client working papers are filed per approved guidelines and all client files are continually updated.

• Keep abreast with technical developments in the profession and the country, in order to anticipate client needs, and offer value added and practical business solutions.

• Develop and manage good client relations, producing outputs which meet client and Firm expectations/standards. • Market the Firm with the aim of maintaining and winning new business.

• Leverage knowledge and contribute to proper knowledge management within the department.

The job holders will play a role in managing and delivery of people and change consulting assignments in executive selection, organisation reviews, change management, training needs analysis and other HR consulting assignments as will be assigned.

Undertake business development through active identification of leads, conversion of leads to expression of interests, proposal and engagements.

Take responsibility for delivery of client work and management of assignment economics

Minimum of a university degree from a recognised institution, a post graduate or relevant professional qualification in the relevant field.

A minimum of 7 years experience for senior manager and 4 years for manager of relevant and demonstrable experience in a similar environment is required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to travel and operate at regional level.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Support Council to realize UACE’s mission and objectives.

- Financial resource management – fundraising, budgeting, regulatory compliance and implementation.

- Design programs and services beneficial to UACE members and other stakeholders.

Qualifications and experience:

- A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Marketing or Mass Communication with at least 3 years’ relevant experience in a medium size organization.

- Experience in marketing, business development, public relations is essential.

- Must have excellent English written and oral communication skills including presentation.
