We are also engaged in international education work around the globe.Job Summary: The job holder will be responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) and Monitoring System for the Agricultural and Rural Finance (AGRUFIN) Programme. The incumbent will also technically support Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activities of selected partners of the AGRUFIN Programme. He /she will also carry out evaluations of selected programme activities.Key Duties and Responsibilities:  1. Develop a MIS: Set up a MIS, for the programme, which allows it to steer and monitor the operational plans of all programme components.2. Develop a Monitoring System: Develop together with the programme management a systematic monitoring strategy consisting of impact monitoring, activity monitoring and expenditure monitoringWork with Programme Components to develop Component- specific monitoring sub-systemsIntegrate single monitoring components into a comprehensive programme wide monitoring system3. Collect and analyse monitoring data on an ongoing basis: Support programme components to collect data related to the component indicators on an ongoing basis.4. Support programme components and partners to conduct baseline surveysCollect and analyse monitoring data and summarize findings in monitoring reportsFeed programme monitoring data in relevant GIZ (monitoring) systems5. Build internal and external capacity to integrate M&E into supported activitiesBuild the capacity of AGRUFIN staff to monitor programme activities and integrate evaluations into selected activities.Technically support partner organisations in integrating M&E into activities supported by the AGRUFIN programme.6. Organisation: Deutsche Gesellschaft fur International  Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbHProject Name: Promotion of Accountability and Transparency Project (PoAT)Duty Station:  Kampala, UgandaThe German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) commissioned the German Development Cooperation in 2014 to initiate the project: Promotion of Accountability and Transparency in Uganda. The project supports in particular the Office of the Auditor General in enhancing the effectiveness of public sector audits in Uganda as well as strengthening the interfaces between other accountability organisations like the Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Authority (PPDA) and the Inspectorate of Government (IG). The project aims to contribute to enhancement of accountability and transparency in government’s operations by improving institutional frameworks and building capacity of staff to' effectively conduct their mandates and functions according to international standards. PoAT aims to strengthen the cooperation between OAG and the parliament and other relevant stakeholders, enhancing OAG’s compliance with International Auditing Standards (ISSAI’s), strengthening human resource management and development and streamlining training. Duty Station:  Kampala, UgandaKfW Entwicklungsbank, a German Development Bank, is an integral part of KfW Bankengruppe (www.kfw.de). In carrying out German Financial Cooperation, KfW follows two main principles: strengthening partner countries’ sense of ownership and alignment of KfW’s work with the countries’ national development strategies and structures. On behalf of the German Government, KfW uses funds provided out of the federal budget and funds it has raised in the capital market (“KfW funds”) to finance development investments of its partner countries.KfW’s 650 personnel, of which about 190 are specialists in the local offices, cooperate with partners all over the world. In Uganda, KfW is currently engaged in the promotion of renewable energy, water and sanitation and financial sector development.
