The founding members of ICCO Cooperation are Edukans, the Protestant Church of The Netherlands (Kerk in Actie) and the association Prisma. ICCO Cooperation seeks to end poverty and injustice and who are committed to creating a world where people can live in dignity and security.ICCO Cooperation was awarded a four year Agri Skills 4 You (AS4Y) program in Northern Uganda with a maximum value of £9 million. The program will contribute to the development of the Agro-BTVET sector to enhance access to and improve the relevance and quality of formal training and mobile training for youth and for market-oriented small farmers. Key Duties and Responsibilities:Comply with ICCO’s financial and administrative systems and manuals Contribute to an organizational culture of transparency and honesty in financial aspects in ICCO.Monitor the reconciliation of travel advances and share with staff on a monthly basis.Responsible for booking expenses in MS Dynamics and compile office monthly expenditure including variance analysis reports.Routinely prepare and compile the Monthly AS4Y liquidity requests & cash flow projections in a timely manner.Maintain and keep up-to-date books of accounts of the AS4Y programContribute to the annual budgeting cycle and produce reports on request.In charge of facilitating both internal & external audits of the Lira office, administration role Act as the first contact of the AS4Y program in Lira with both internal & external clients.Efficiently manage cash at the Lira office by issuing out travel advances to staff & cheques to service providers.Ensure smooth stores running by good stores monitoring and timely requisitionsEnsure proper utilities management at Lira office Develop and maintain monitoring systems for all office equipment including computers, printers, generator etc. Offer logistical support for authorised seminars, conferences and workshops.Develop and maintain an assets tracking system for all equipment in the Lira office and make sure to mark them accordingly.Ensure that all organisational assets are functional at all times including ICT by liaising with the respective service providers. Technically support programs as MSD secretary for External communication.Prepare purchase orders and bid analysis in the project administration.Offer supervisory role and manage the performance of casual staff at Lira office.Provide (secretarial) support to various program committees Qualifications, Skills and Experience:The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor of Commerce degree, BBA Accounting, ACCA level 2, CPA level 2 or their equivalent)A minimum of three years’ professional working experience in a similar position Good computer skills (MS Office packages) with knowledge of at least one accounting package Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, including intercultural communicationExcellent language skills in English and a relevant regional languageGood stress management skills Ability to multitask Excellent analytical and problem solving skills All suitably qualified and interested candidates should send their updated CVs (not more than 3 pages) and motivational letters (not more one page) to:audrey.mugisha@icco-cooperation.org.
