Organisation: Global Telecommunication CompanyDuty Station:  Kampala, UgandaReports to: Chief Commercial OfficerNFT Consult, a leading HR Consultancy firm, seeks to recruit for it valuable client, a Global Telecommunication company.  NFT Human Resource Solutions are customer tailored per industry requirements and are geared towards increased cost savings, process improvement leading to improved efficiency and effectiveness yet simultaneously strengthening quality and control of resources.Job Summary: The Head of Sales will be responsible for managing the entire sales and distribution team. The desired candidate will ensure that the team meets its KPIs and the required standards and measures, so as to meet the set goals. The successful candidate will be someone with a proven record of achieving and exceeding stretch sales targets in either a B2B or B2C environment. The main objectives of this role are to grow the subscriber base and to analyze market trends with a view of identifying additional sales and distribution opportunities.Key Duties and Responsibilities:  Responsible for the establishment of annual, quarterly and monthly sales targets in coordination with the Company’s business planIn charge of  producing an annual Sales Plan and providing quarterly updates, and revisions to the business planDevelop new strategies, tactics and plans for future growth of the Company’s subscriber Compile and produce reports based on facts to be presented before the senior managers, and shareholdersRepresent the company’s business policies in various conferences, trade fairs, and networking events to attract more and more subscribersCoordinate the sales operations with all the other departments in the companyEstablish performance goals for direct reportsContinuously motivate the sales team and inspire them to stay focused on the Company’s goalsDevelop and execute the strategic plan to achieve sales targets and to expand the Company’s customer baseBuild and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, focusing on key-accountsEffectively communicate the company’s value proposition through proposals and presentationsUnderstand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accountsPlan and coordinate execution of all internal and external sales events including sales campaigns, account reviews, activations and daily, monthly and annual sales meetingsOversee all distribution and sales relevant logistics processes e.g. ensuring device and SIM card minimum stock levels are maintained and the product flow from customs to main warehouse to sub-warehouses is properly monitoredCollate and ensure accurate and timely submission of Sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales function.Recommend revisions to existing reports or new report requirements as may be appropriateMaintain our client’s brand in all communications, both internal and externalQualifications, Skills and Experience:  The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in a business related course.
