SUPERVISES : COORDINATORS (M&E, REGIONAL AND CS&A) What is done with what outcome • To assist the Country Director in the development of an appropriate sustainable development programme through appropriate programmes and strategies. • To oversee SAO Uganda programme implementation, work plans and coordination. • To manage the proposal development process including operational documents. • To facilitate staff capacity building. Required Qualifications, Competencies and Attributes:• To design programmes and activities • To supervise programme implementation • To ensure that programme’s strategic objectives are met • To conduct periodic reviews and assessment of project implementation of planned activities • To oversee the development of organisational proposals including the annuals ones • To raise funds for the different projects of the programmes, which is resource mobilisation • To prepare and ensure timely reports are presented to the Country Director • To provide backstopping services to the Regional Centres • To ensure training of staff on the different levels of the programme approaches or design • To develop programme tools at different levels of the programme design • To ensure regular and periodic monitoring and evaluation of programme activities • To ensure that all programme activities are in line with the organisational goals and objectives • To ensure that programme resources are allocated appropriately • To review and approve quarterly work plans and financial requests from regions before sending to Finance department • Specific role is to plan financial forecasts for programme needs with Director and Finance Manger • To oversee and supervise the operations of the regions. • To carry out any other assignments as management may direct.
