The Central and Eastern Africa Regional Office is based in Kampala — Uganda, currently has country offices in five countries and programs running in eight countries within the region.ICCO Cooperation was awarded a four year Agri Skills 4 You (AS4Y) program in Northern Uganda with a maximum value of €79 million.The program will contribute to the development of the Agro-BTVET sector to enhance access to and improve the relevance and quality of formal training and mobile training for youth and for market-oriented small farmers.For this Program, ICCO Cooperation is now looking for a vibrant, motivated and enterprising person to work as the  Administration Officer (AFAO). S/he will be based in Lira.Main Tasks and Responsibilitieso Act as the first contact of the AS4Y program in Lira with both internal & external clients.o Efficiently manage cash at the Lira office by issuing out travel advances to staff & cheques to service providers.o Ensure smooth stores running by good stores monitoring and timely requisitionso Ensure proper utilities management at Lira officeo Develop and maintain monitoring systems for all office equipment including computers, printers, generator etc.o Provide logistical support for authorised seminars, conferences and workshops.equipment in the Lira office and make sure to mark them accordingly.0 Ensure that all organisational assets are functional at all times including ICT by liaising with the respective service providers.0 Support programs as MSD secretary for External communication.o Prepare purchase orders and bid analysis in the project administration.o Provide supervisory role and manage the performance of casual staff at Lira office.0 Provide (secretarial) support to various program committeeso Relevant education for the job (B Comm., BBA Accounting, ACCA level 2, CPA level 2 or their equivalent)o At least 3 years working experience in a similar positiono Good computer skills (MS Office packages) with knowledge of at least one accounting packageo Good interpersonal & communication skills, including intercultural communication0 Excellent language skills in English and a relevant regional languageo Stress management and ability to multitask0 Analytical and problem solving skillsPlease send your CV (not more than 3 pages) and a motivationalbletter (not more one page) to audrey.mugisha@icco-cooperation.org. All applications shall be clearly marked: ‘ICCO-AFAO AS4Y’and no e-mails should exceed2MB.
