Job Title: SUPERVISOR OPERATIONAL GUIDELINES & PUBLIC AWARENESS (1 VACANCY) REF. DSC 15/70/02 [31] SALARY SCALE: UGANDA GOVERNMENT SCALE - KCCA 6 AGE: 28 YEARS AND ABOVE MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND WORKING EXPERIENCE: Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honors Bachelor’s Degree either Economics or Law or Business Studies/Administration/Commerce or Taxation and Revenue Administration or any other course closely related to any of the above fields plus a minimum of a Post Graduate Diploma in any of the above fields. A minimum of a certificate in Specialized Training (Taxation and Revenue Administration) from recognized University/Institution will be an added advantage. Applicants should have a minimum of five (5) years working experience, three (3) of which should have been gained at Senior Officer level in Government or equivalent Supervisory level of relevant experience from a reputable organization. DUTIES:- The incumbent will be responsible to the immediate Supervisor for performing the following duties:- ? Coordinating the development and implementation of the tax training programmes in line with the Directorate guidelines ? Monitoring the development of operational guidelines for all tax heads in line with the Directorate guidelines and applicable laws ? Developing public awareness campaigns to sensitize staff about their obligation to pay tax in line with the Authority guidelines and applicable laws ? Evaluating Tax Education & Information needs and design new business advisory services for delivery to Tax Payers in line with the Tax advisory procedures and guidelines. ? Interpreting , simplify the Tax laws, rules and regulations and develop Tax Payer guides in line with the KCC Act and corporate plan ? Managing the performance and Development of staff in line with the performance management guidelines ? Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
