Friends of

Christ Revival (FOC-REV) Ministries Uganda is a non-governmental, non-profit,

non-political, inter-denominational charitable organization that was

established in 1999 by a group of volunteers as a response to a crisis caused

by HIV &AIDS and poverty in rural communities in Uganda. FOC-REV Ministries

Uganda exists to work with the poor and marginalized rural people to improve

their livelihood and increase self-reliance through education support, health

services advocacy, food security and networking.


Job Summary: The Case

Management Officer will work closely with the Programme Manager-FOC REV,

BAFO-Regional Manager-WEI/Batwana Initiative for Case Management to manage the

coordination of Case Management activities in Northern Uganda with partner

civil society organizations (CSOs) and local governments. Case Management will

focus on strengthening coordination, resource mobilization and technical

support for a range of CSOs and local government staff with the overall goal of

improving planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluating skills and

approaches for Children and youth programming.


Key Duties and Responsibilities: 


·        
Provide technical management and coordination

support for district and sub-county levels case management systems

strengthening efforts


·        
The incumbent will support the delivery of finance

and operations technical support to Government and CSO partners


·        
Manage logistics for all key case management

activities including assessments, trainings and technical assistance


·        
Serve as the focal person for staff TA requests,

follow-up and linkages within the project and across partners


·        
The incumbent will support the coordination of all

case management efforts across the project’s organizational and technical areas

in Northern Uganda


·        
Sensitize district, CSO and communities on relevant

national OVC legislation, policies and other relevant guidelines


·        
Prepare and submit monthly case management reports,

quarterly, annual and end of project reports


·        
Represent FOC REV in National and International

conferences, workshops and meetings to share and disseminate research reports,

best practices and other project documentaries on vulnerable children and youth


Qualifications, Skills and

Experience: 


·        
The applicants should preferably hold a Bachelor’s

degree m Social Work, Public Health, Social Sciences or possession of a Post

graduate training in child protection methodologies and best practices


·        
At least five years’ experience implementing case

management initiatives with Government and/or CSOs


·        
Past exposure and experience in case management

identification and assessments


·        
Good skills in planning, referral and support

services, monitoring, review and closure tools of  cases


·        
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


·        
Ability to work independently, multi-task and take

initiative.


·        
Strong leadership capabilities and demonstrated

potential for learning new skills


·        
Detailed knowledge and understanding of OVC and HIV related

programming
