Finance and Administration Officer. – Friends of Christ Revival (FOC-REV) Ministries
Reports to: Finance and Administration Manager
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensure the project/grant reports are accurate and timely and they are provided to the Finance and Administration Manager on a timely manner for further review and submission to the management and donors/partners.
· Support the Finance and Administration Manager in monitoring budgets, project reporting and identify issues as they arise and to propose appropriate preventative interventions and solutions in a timely fashion.
· Ensure that the payroll data is timely and accurately processed and the payroll reports generated and submitted to the management for payment authorization on monthly basis.
· Ensure that FOC-REV finance and procurement policies are uniformly applied by all FOC-REV Programs, in close liaison with Finance and Administration Manager, Program Manager, and Program Officer ensures that we comply with donor rules and regulations.
· Support staff and managers to comply with accounting procedures and internal controls.
· Offer financial and grant management support to assigned Project staff..
· Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Finance Administration Manager.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The Finance and Administration Officer should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and CPA/ACCA level 2.
· At least three years’ experience in a financial management & grant reporting position.
· The applicant must be personable, a good team player and a fast learner.
· Prior experience of working with WFP, DFID, USAID, GOAL and other International agencies grants will be an added advantage.
· The applicant must be a person of high integrity, have good analytical skills and attention to detail.
· Highly computer literate with knowledge of computerized accounting software i.e. Ms Excel.
· The applicants must be committed to uphold the values of the organization.
