ASSURANCE OFFICER ( FULL TIME )

ChildFund Uganda seeks to recruit suitably qualified, self-driven and result-oriented candidates for the following positions;
ASSURANCE OFFICER
The purpose of the job is to promote an organizational culture that promotes accountability, transparency, integrity and protection of the reputation of ChildFund International.
The position is based at the National Office and reports to the Quality Assurance Manager but liaises with other managers to ensure that the Assurance system is functioning properly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensures compliance to policies, procedures, and statutory regulations
• Monitors resolutions of corrective action
• Supports and participate in project reviews and audits
• Conducts training on policies and procedures.
• Regularly produces various reports on quality assurance activities
• Support the Quality Assurance Manager to evaluate the business processes, procedures and associated Internal Controls, assess their effectiveness in line with the Objectives of ChildFund International and its partners
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Business Discipline i.e. BBA, BCOM,
• Part qualification of a Professional Qualification (CPA, CIA or ACCA).
• At least 3 years experience in audit and NGO Work.
• Extensive computer proficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High level of integrity.
• Demonstrable aptitude for teamwork.
• Excellent reporting ability.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong work ethics and confidentiality
