THE AIDS SUPPORT ORGANIZATION (TASO UGANDA)
The AIDS Support Organization (TASO Uganda), an organisation contributing to a process of preventing HIV infection, restoring hope and improving the quality of Life of persons, families and communities affected by HIV infection and disease, requires the
services of dedicated, competent, innovative and results oriented personnel to fill in the following positions.

5. Job Title : Trainer-Psychosocial Department/Location : TASO Training Centre
Reports to : Team Leader Counselling and
Community Training Directly Supervises: None
Main Purpose of the Job
To provide training services to individuals and organizations interested in TASO training services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks;
• Carry out Psychosocial Training Needs Assessment in line with the training policy.
• Provide input in development of training curriculum
• Participate in the development of training programmes
• Participate in the development training plans
• Develop training materials
• Organise training activities
• Conduct training programmes in line with the training policy.
• Produce daily, weekly, monthly, annual and ad hoc reports on training activities carried out.
• Follow up and evaluate training programmes in line with the training policy.

Requirement:

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS: Trainer-Psycho social Academic Qualifications
1st Degree in Education or Social Sciences, Bachelor of Arts.
Additional Training
HIV/AIDS Counselling, and Training of Trainers
Minimum Experience and Exposure
3 years’ experience related to training Special Knowledge
Curriculum design, Developing training programmes, and Communication Skills
