Organisation: Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA) Duty Station:  Kampala, UgandaReports to: Administration OfficerThe Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA) is mandated UCDA to: “Oversee the coffee industry by supporting research, promoting production, controlling the quality and improving the marketing of coffee in order to optimise foreign exchange earnings for the country and payments to farmers.”Job Summary: The Stores Assistant will primarily ensure there is proper receipt, maintenance and dispatch of stores in line with the Stores Management guidelines and procedures.Key Duties and Responsibilities:  Receive, record and store supplies/goods in accordance with standard Stores practices.Receive and process stores’ requisition orders.Keep all stores items secure, well arranged and easily accessible.Prepare and maintain the stores’ inventory and maintain stores ledgers for non-fixed assets.Support in the monitoring the location, condition and record of fixed assets.Compile and produce quarterly reports.Assist in keeping record of, and monitoring motor vehicle fuel, movement and service chart.Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Management from time to time.Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  The Stores Assistant should hold a good Diploma in Stores Management, Procurement, Logistics & Supplies Management from a recognized University/Institution;A minimum of two years’ working experience in stores management;Ethics and integrity; good communication skills; Good organizational and interpersonal skills; Good computer skills, and ability to use stores related instruments, documents and computer software; Ability to pay attention to detail.All suitably qualified and interested persons should submit their applications, curriculum vitae, certified copies of academic transcripts, and telephone contacts and e-mail addresses of three referees to;- The Principal Human Resource Officer, UCDA, Coffee House, Plot 35 Jinja Road, P.O.
