Restaurant Supervisor/ Executive- Chef ( FULL TIME )

Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC) formerly known as Entebbe Zoo is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Heritage seeking to recruit competent candidates for the following vacancies for a contract period of three years (renewable).

2. Restaurant Supervisor/ Executive- Chef (1):
Reports to: Manager Finance, Administration and Business
Development

Qualifications: A professional certificate, diploma or degree in the relevant field and 3 years work experience in a good class hotel in similar capacity.
Competencies and skills required:
• To supervise the Food & Beverages department operations.
• To plan for requirements of the department including budgeting.
• To carry-out food preparations, production and menu costing.
• Proficiency in maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in work stations
• Able to engage in capacity building of other staff within the department. *-._
• Must be able to achieve business targets set by management.
• To keep high standards of professional service at the facility.
