Duty Station: Nakaseke, UgandaBRAC is one of the largest Non- Governmental Development Organization in the world, working in a number of countries in Africa and Asia on poverty alleviation programs. The Organization implements integrated development approach combining Education, Health, Agriculture, Livestock, Adolescent Empowerment and Microfinance. Key Duties and Responsibilities:  Intuitively understand design drawing for equipment for purposeful functions.Responsible for drawing circuit diagrams and machines flow linesResponsible for machine and equipment operation & maintenanceServe as the liaison between all vendors, workers and managementOffer technical advice to procurement on related assignment/project logisticsQualifications, Skills and Experience: The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or its equivalentAt least a year’s experience in a related environment with a reputable firm.Fluency in both spoken and written English Excellent analytical skillsMust be self directed, well organized and goal oriented.Proven ability to work creatively and produce high quality output in a loosely structured environmentAbility to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary and multicultural teamAll suitably qualified and interested candidates who meet the above requirements, should send their application letters, Curriculum Vita (including bio-data as: Date of birth, Education qualification, language proficiency, work experience and at least2 references), photocopy of academic papers, 2 copies of colored passport size photographs, LCI letter and a daytime contact number to BRAC Uganda-HRD plot 90, Busingiri Zone, Off Entebbe Road, Nyanama ,OR through BRACs postal address as P.O Box 31817 (Clock tower), Kampala, Uganda or via email to: hrd@uganda.brac.net.
