We currently work in over 40 districts in Uganda. World Vision is committed to the protection of children and we will not employ people whose background is not suitable for working with children. All employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of all applicable background checks, including criminal record checks where possible.
(Please note that all positions are open to Ugandan Nationals Only)To provide secretarial, administrative and coordination support to the division by developing and maintaining office systems and procedures, in line with the division strategy in order for the division to achieve the goals of the organization.·             Receives, screens and presents to the supervisor information or data on which she bases her decisions.  This includes incoming letters and other documents from other divisions and/or outside of World Vision.·             Follow up feedback on the mails for appropriate action.·             Respond to all general inquiries of the division·             Attend to phone calls to the division·             Book meeting venue and communicate meeting details including date, time and agenda.·             Book interview venues, requisition for money for facilitation for panel.·             Prepare material/stationery for meetings·             Request for vehicle to facilitate the team where necessary·             Prepare minutes for meetings attended·             Prepare interview documents e.g. Application and registration forms.·             Invigilate written tests during practical interviews.    Receives all visitors/clients coming in the Division and directs those who do not warrant seeing the supervisor to other managers.    Ensures good flow and appropriate action on correspondence and documents from the supervisor’s office to other department. ·             Management of staff files·             Open files for new staff·             Process and file all documents for staff-          Contract appointments-          Acceptance of resignation-          Letters of Undertaking (loans)-          Application for passports and visa-          Application for opening new accounts-          Invitation letters (for visitors Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience    You must have minimum of a Degree inOffice and Information Management/Science, Secretarial duties, Office Management Science or Human Resource Management·         Customer Care skills·         Planning and organizational skills ·         Good Interpersonal skills·         Preferably 3 years experience·         Should be accurate and organized at work.Liaise with procurement and services providers to provide new Identity cards for staffOther Competencies/Attributes:·             Computer literate·             Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.·             Attend and participate/lead in daily devotions and weekly Chapel services.·             Perform other duties as required.If you are qualified and interested in   please submit your resume online by visiting the e-recruitment website HERE.Deadline for receiving applications is: Wednesday 9th July, 2014
