Organisation: Joint Medical Store (JMS)Joint Medical Store (JMS) is a Church founded private Not-For-Profit organization whose mission is to supply medicines, medical equipment and related healthcare services, and training of assured quality to the people of Uganda at affordable prices.Job Summary: The JMS Team Leader will be responsible for efficient logistical and warehouse management operations at the assigned warehouse facilities.Key Duties and Responsibilities: Allocate tasks to team members, check on progress and resolve issues that come up.Intuitively analyze workload and pro-actively liaise with immediate supervisor on human resource requirements.Mentor, motivate and supervise the team members and ensure that tasks are carried out correctly in accordance with the standard operating procedures and agreed time lines.Keep track of tasks accomplished, and submit progress report to immediate supervisorEnsure that the team’s work area is kept clean and tidy at all times.Qualifications, Skills and Experience: The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma in Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Stores and Logistics Management.Professional qualification in Supplies and Logistics Management e.g. CIPS is an added advantage.A minimum of two years’ work experience in a relevant busy business environment.Hands-on experience in inventory management and using computerized warehouse management system is an added advantage.Highly dependable, honest, impeccable integrityGood team player with strong interpersonal skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to take initiative, prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlinesHighly innovative and able to identify strategies for continual improvement.Computer literacy i.e. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Excel, Power Point, Email.All candidates should send their applications including photocopies of academic certificates, Curriculum Vitae, names of three professional referees (who are not relatives), and a day-time telephone contacts should be addressed to:The Head of Human Resource and AdministrationPlot 1828 Gogonya Road, NsambyaP.O.
