Key Duties and Responsibilities: The PR Officer will be the Official Spokesperson of the UniversityActively monitor and ensure best practicesin the UniversityIn charge of developing a databank for external stakeholders of the University.Monitor and Manage the University’s media coverage and relations.In charge of ensuring and maintaining the academic institution’s image and identityWrite press releases and organize press conferencesQualifications, Skills and Experience: The ideal candidate for Public Relations Officer Vacancy should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism or related field from a reputable Institution. Possession of a Master’s Degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations or related field from a reputable Institution.Professional certification in a similar field would be an added advantage.A minimum of five years relevant working experience in a reputable organization in a similar position.All candidates are strongly encouraged to send handwritten or typed application (6 copies), detailed CV, photocopies of supporting and verified academic documents, names and addresses of three referees (one of whom should be a Religious Leader) and their telephone contacts to the University Secretary, Ndejje University, P.O.
