The International Education Division will implement an anticipated USAID-funded five-year cooperative agreement to address literacy and retention issues in 28 districts in Uganda.Job Summary: The USAID Project Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator will steer the monitoring and evaluation program activities. In this capacity, s/he will provide technical support to the implementation of quantitative and qualitative activities including: recording, documenting, and internalizing experiences within the activity and will develop and implement a M&E framework to ensure evidence based programming and USAID compliance. Key Duties and Responsibilities:  Actively coordinates and manages all monitoring and evaluation tasks and deliverables for the project.Harmonizes M&E data collection and reporting systems with USAID policies and education indicators.Actively monitors and manages reports to communicate program results and to improve implementation including: establishing systems for gathering, reporting and analyzing performance data for impact and sustainability of project implementation; overseeing data collection processes as required the project’s parameters; developing documentation of best practices; and facilitating the use of data to drive program design and decision making.Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports on the status of project; implementation; contribute to other project reports such as annual work plans.Regularly reviews and updates the project’s M&E plan.Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  The Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator should hold a Master’s degree in project management, development studies, research or other areas relevant to M&E and nine years of overall related experience.At least five years of M&E experience including technical experience in managing quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.Past exposure and experience relevant in leading the development of the Active Monitoring and Learning Plan including designing key indicators.Excellent technical and analytical skills directly related to the work of the proposed project, including excellent writing skills.All candidates who wish to join RTI International’s USAID Project should Apply Online by clicking on blue link besides post.Click Here -> Find RT Jobs -> Advanced Search -> Choose Uganda (Country)
