Post: Consultant in Project Planning and Management
Location: Mbale

(a) Duties and Responsibilities:
i.Developing training programmes
ii.Marketing UMI training Programmes
iii. Developing training materials and case studies.
iv. Facilitating on raining programmes of the Institute.
v. Evaluating the impact of training given to participants.
vi. Conduct research and publish.
vii. Carry out consultancy services to UMI Clients.
viii.Supervising graduate students.
ix. Developing customized short courses for practitioners.
x. Setting examinations/course work and marking.

(b) Person Specifications:
i. A Bachelors Degree (Hons) and Masters Degree from a recognized University/ Institution in a field of study related to the job applied for.
ii. A PhD in a related field of study will be an added advantage.

Rewards and other Terms at Service
Successful candidates will, on being confirmed in appointment, be offered five-year renewable contracts, a competitive basic salary complemented by housing allowance, medical allowance, transport allowance and an attractive gratuity scheme. Staffs are also provided with support for continuous personal development.

iii. Applicants possessing relevant professional qualifications will have an added advantage.
iv. Applicants should have at least three years' working at supervisory level gained in a reputable organization.
v. Applicants with two years' teaching experience at postgraduate level in a higher institution of learning will have added advantage.
vi, Evidence of pedagogical skills possession at postgraduate level will be an added advantage.
