The BBC Persian TV channel broadcasts from London providing news, current affairs, information, and factual programming in Farsi to Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan. It complements the BBC Persian Radio and Online services to offer an integrated multimedia package. The channel has access to the BBC global news resources, and adheres to the BBC values of accuracy, impartiality, and balance. It is free from commercial, political and religious affiliations or pressures, modern in style and has a broad appeal.
As a Graphic Designer, you will be producing high quality complex graphics in Farsi using the full range of available media and working to tight deadlines. You’ll also be creating graphics templates for use within the Newsroom, as well as managing and delivering design projects from brief to completion. You’ll need to have substantial experience of broadcast graphics design including 3D animations and you will have experience working with Viz RT. You’ll be fluent in English and Farsi and have strong IT skills.
