Reports to : Senior Clinical Officer
Age limit : 18 years and above

Duties:
* Examining and diagnosing clinical ailments in patients,
* Prescribing treatment and administering medicaments.
* Admitting patients with complicated health ailments or referring them to other health units.
* Conducting health education and health sensitisation programmes.
* Planning, supervising and ensuring implementation of programmes at the health centre.
* Counseling and advising patients in line with ailments.
* Planning, supervising and ensuring implementation of programmes at the health centre.
* Counseling and advising patients in line with ailments,
* Participating in community public health awareness programmes.

Parson Specifications:
* 'A' Level plus a Diploma in Clinical Medicine.and Community Health care or its equivalent.
* Should have management skills
* Should have Good communication skills
* Should have counseling skills

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the vacant posts that exist in the service of Lyantonde District Local Government.
